Fat Daddio's ProSeries Heating Rods are designed to ensure that the center of the cake is thoroughly-baked and rises evenly without requiring additional time in the oven. A heating rod is recommended by professionals for cakes larger than 9" in diameter or 3" and 4" deep to evenly-distribute heat conduction to the center of the cake.
Use one or more heating rods to improve baking results for deep, large and novelty-shaped cakes. Safe for breads, pastries, savory foods and more. Built to last through daily use in both the home kitchen and commercial establishments.
